Our commitment

Simulyx is built on a local-first architecture. Your engineering data — geometry files, meshes, solver results, and generated reports — stays on your machine. We never upload, store, or have access to your proprietary design files.

What stays on your machine

What we collect

License validation: When Simulyx validates your license key on startup, we receive the license key and a hashed machine identifier. This is stored in our database to manage your subscription.

Anonymous telemetry (opt-out): If enabled, Simulyx sends anonymous usage statistics — analysis type, duration, success/failure, app version, and OS. No geometry, prompts, file paths, or personal information is included. You can disable telemetry at any time in your config file.

Payment data: Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles your payment information, invoicing, and tax compliance. We do not store credit card details.

LLM data handling

When using the managed LLM (Pro/Team plans), abstracted analysis parameters are sent to the LLM provider (Anthropic, OpenAI via OpenRouter). Your actual geometry files are never sent. LLM providers process requests in memory with zero data retention for API usage. In BYOK mode, requests go directly to your chosen provider.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your account data, email privacy@simulyx.ai. We will remove your records from our license database, subscriber lists, and request deletion from Paddle.
